Simon Shepard An executive, mentor, coach, Optima Life

Simon Shepard has worked at Lord’s cricket ground for the past 30 years, firstly as a physiotherapist, then as head of player health, well-being, and sports science, and now oversees organization development and culture for Middlesex CCC.

Alongside his work in sports, he delivers coaching and training to organizations that are serious about their people.  With clients from both public and private sectors located around the globe, his message is clear – the leadership teams of today need to look after themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally if they are to be progressive in a world of flux. His approach uses a combination of data and storytelling to address the Key Human Performance Indicators (KHPIs).

Tiina Hoffman

Tiina Hoffman Master Trainer, Firstbeat

Tiina Hoffman is an Exercise Physiologist who works at Firstbeat as a Specialist and Master Trainer. She has over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry and research.

As a young adult, Tiina spent 4 years cross-country ski racing and then 4 year coaching at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Once back in Finland, she found her way to Firstbeat after several years in overtraining and heart rate variability field studies at the Research Institute for Olympic Sports and the University of Jyväskylä.
