Firstbeat is proud to announce its recent API integration partnership with Kinduct, a Canada-based athlete management system that turns data into actionable intelligence. The direct integration will seamlessly transfer data between the two technologies, unlocking powerful insights, enhancing data driven decisions, and optimizing athletic performance.
This new integration has already proven valuable to many professional sports teams, most notably in the National Hockey League (NHL). Bill Burniston — Head Strength Coach of the Carolina Hurricanes — speaks to the benefits his organization has gained from leveraging the Firstbeat and Kinduct partnership.
“The new API integration with Firstbeat Sports and Kinduct has simplified our workflow when it comes to reviewing and analyzing our workouts and practices. Through Kinduct’s API page, I’m able to pull Firstbeat and Kinduct data on command, or set up automated pulls throughout the day, saving us a huge amount of time.”
“Additionally, we rely on Firstbeat Sports and Kinduct’s other tools and features to monitor our internal and external training loads, player wellness and sleep, and overall readiness. We’re proud to say we’ve had success in keeping our players on the ice and competing at their best since implementing these systems.”
Firstbeat Director of Sports Performance Products, Veli-Pekka Kurunmäki, said:
“Firstbeat Sports are delighted to integrate with Kinduct. In doing so, we have expanded our digital ecosystem even further to provide coaches with the best possible user experience. Our aim is to give our users easy access to the data they need and streamline their workflow in the process. The success of the Carolina Hurricanes after utilizing Firstbeat Sports and Kinduct software is a great example of this in practice.”
With Kinduct now part of Firstbeat’s digital ecosystem roster, Firstbeat is looking forward to more success stories from users, as is Kinduct Account Executive, Matt English.
“We’re extremely excited to integrate with another industry-leading technology in Firstbeat Sports, which we know will only enhance our user’s experience. Bill has done a fantastic job utilizing both Firstbeat and Kinduct’s software, as shown by the Hurricanes’ impressive run to Eastern Conference Finals this past year, as well as their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, capturing their respective league’s title.”
