SS Lazio and Firstbeat Sports Agree Multi-Year Deal

Firstbeat is excited to announce a multi-year agreement with SS Lazio that will see the Serie A side use Firstbeat Sports’ advanced performance analytics.

The Italian club will utilize the Firstbeat Sports Premium offering beginning in the current 2020-21 campaign. The first team squad and staff will have access to Firstbeat’s comprehensive physiological analytics and the Firstbeat Sports app and Sensor to help optimize player performance and recovery as they compete domestically and in the UEFA Champions League.

Firstbeat Sports’ leading analytics are used by over 1,000 elite teams and over 23,000 athletes encompassing every major sport. This includes fellow Serie A teams and soccer clubs across Europe’s top leagues.

I Biancocelesti will benefit from internal load metrics such as TRIMP, Training Effect and time in Training Zones, as well as accessing features like the Quick Recovery Test to check player readiness. Plus, the new external load metrics, Movement Load and Movement Intensity introduced in summer 2020.
