Firstbeat Director of Sports Performance Products, Veli-Pekka Kurunmäki, will be speaking as part of the Wearables in Elite Sports and Worker Safety program. The talk takes place at 17:10 – 17:30 in Hall A of the Estrel Convention Center.
The talk, ‘Using Heart Rate Variability Analysis To Indicate Athlete Injury Risk And Well-Being‘, will discuss how Heart Rate Variability technology can be used to indicate and identify athlete injury risk and track well-being. We will discuss how data collected from wearable technology during practice and ‘home life’ can create a 360-understanding of an athlete’s physiological condition, predict trends and, therefore, aid recovery and performance at the elite level.
